Head Coach
Samford University head coach Bennie Seltzer will speak at the 2012 Rising Coaches Conference on Thursday morning.
Seltzer was hired as Samford’s new head coach in April after having served as an assistant coach on Tom Crean’s staffs at Marquette and Indiana.
He also coached at Oklahoma under Kelvin Sampson.
He played college basketball at Washington State, where he was named First Team All-Pac 10. He remains the conference’s all-time assists leader.
After his college playing career ended, he played professionally in Turkey, Venezuela, Poland, and the Netherlands.
